Samra University of Oriental Medicine

Samra University of Oriental Medicine is America’s first acupuncture university, and provides students with an education in the various elements of Oriental Medicine. Throughout the program, students learn about Chinese Medical Theory, Chinese Herbology, Acupuncture theory and other elements of Oriental Medicine. During the program, students complete a clinical internship, and upon graduation, students are prepared to sit the California Acupuncture Licensing Examination. Students who are interested in a career in acupuncture or Oriental Medicine come from all over the country to study at Samra University of Oriental Medicine, and students even have an opportunity to continue their studies in China after graduation.
